KIPAWA LODGE 7-DAY BEAR HUNT ADVENTURE FEATURES:

Arrival on Saturday, departure the following Saturday.

• Accommodation in one of our 11 fully equipped housekeeping cottages

• One boat, motor and gasoline for every two hunters

• Guided tour of hunting areas with active bait sites

• Assistance with cleaning and packaging your game

OUR STAFF WILL DO THEIR VERY BEST TO ENSURE THAT YOU HAVE A SAFE AND SUCCESSFUL HUNT!

Hunters must supply food, beverages, personal floatation, hunting & fishing equipment, sleeping bags, licenses & personal items.

A deposit of $200.00 per person is required to confirm your reservation.

The Kipawa region is known for a great bear population, with bears averaging 200 lbs. The largest bear ever taken at Kipawa Lodge was estimated at 500 lbs. by a Tammy from P.A This was her first bear and what a prize. Her husband Frank has taken several bears, however they were around the 200 lb mark. Hats off to Tammy.

We only accept 22 hunters during our 6 week season from May 18th - June 30th, this helps to ensure a good population.
We have a brand new territory that we will be hunting this year, which entails 50 square miles and after scouting it last September it looks very promising. This area was logged 3 years ago, and there is plenty of new growth, berries, and grasses.

The great thing about about hunting at Kipawa Lodge is you can also fish for Walleye, Northern Pike and Lake trout. So after you bag your bear you can work on getting your limit of fish to take home. I really can't think of a better way for a sportsman to spend a week in the true Canadian wilderness.
